It was Christmas time 2019, the 0-0 game v St Mirren when I was last there (pre Covid I played football on a Saturday and couldn’t make it most weeks). I just rocked up and paid with cash. Maybe another forward and at a push a centre back? The drop off from the current back 3 to Muller/Denham/Booth/Rooney still feels substantial. There’s definitely a few candidates for loans on that list too. The chairman has already offered them all extensions, probably the earliest in the season we’ve seen them try and get them tied down. Anyway. Posted August 8, 2021 Share Posted August 8, 2021 I'm pretty resigned to the fact we won't have McCart, Kerr, and Rooney, next season one way or another, so I'm not hugely bothered about their contracts. If they renew its a massive bonus, if they don't then they deserve the best move they can get. One thing I've started to think is that if we can somehow beat Galatasaray on Thursday, then that should cement all three as being here for the rest of the season if the club wants it. The money brought in would make any fees negligible, and keeping them would give us 12 months to plan.
