Ah Ok mate so get money on glens because they can get the most points at this moment in time [emoji3]

Which makes Mcbookies odds on for Talbot a little strange
Personally I would be
Glen's Evs
Rab's 7/4
Talbot 4s
Beith 6 s
But am no a bookie so god knows how their minds work

Talbot will be shorter odds as they attract a lot more backing from punters and the bookies need to cover themselves.

The odds won't be based on who they think is the best side. I'd imagine there would have been next to nothing on Glens or KRR at the start of the season.

I'm genuinely stumped here. FOTJ all you have done is repost the possible macimum points available, that scotsvo has done in his table.
How's that tipping anyone?

Making it a bit more user friendly & also scotsvo hasn't posted in a while .
Actually disappointed you didn't have a bigger rant [emoji23][emoji23]

I don't rant. I just comment on the daftness of this thread.
However, even that was overshadowed by you having the audacity to claim that you predicted the top and bottom three by making a maximum points list.

Just pointing out that the thread has its uses & the only person to comment on its daftness was your good self

Managed to find the post from last season & will put up my early prediction & in a bit the final table

Then we can debate the folly of this thread or whether like the majority said its a worthwhile effort from all concerned

Actually got the bottom 4 right mmm

1 Auchinleck. 55

2 Ladeside. 51

3 Hurlford. 50

4. Beith. 48

5. Glenafton. 47

6 Rob Roy. 47

7 Troon. 46

8 Pollok. 44

9 Arthurlie. 44

10 Shettleston. 36

11 Petershill. 35

12 Meadow. 32

And how the league finished. So as most sensible reasoned folk will agree it was more than a worthwhile exercise

Final League table

1 Auchinleck. 45 Champions

2 Hurlford. 41

3 Ladeside. 40

4 Troon. 37

5 Pollok. 34

7 Glenafton. 31

7 Beith 30

8 Rob Roy. 27

9 Arthurlie. 26

10 Shettleston. 25 Play off

11 Petershill. 21 Relegated

12 Meadow. 13 Relegated

But it wasn't a prediction by you. And my argument has been that the ACTUAL league table is more of a guide rather than counting up the maximum possible.
It's stupid. Simple.

Will agree to disagree. Some find it interesting others don't.
Think personally it's a good indicator of where teams will finish if you start it at this point of the season but obviously you disagree .
Just can't get round my head why someone who doesn't have an interest in it comments so frequently.
Personally I'd just scroll past a thread that I'm not bothered with [emoji849][emoji849]

......or block the contributors.
Anyone with any sense who has read my comments earlier in this thread can see they are tongue in cheek. And that same sensible person will see that the statistics quoted are, at best, irrelevant.
