DeeBairn
[emoji38] Do they even have a bank account these days? I'm assuming they meant break into a bank. Either that or they are actually talking about melting the clubs piggy bank with a hammer and taking the change.
thepundit
Not sure Barker is of the standard required to challenge for the league IMO. Sames goes for McGeouch and McGinn. We're going to need better players than that.

I’m not sure that Barker is the standard required to challenge for second, but the other two are.
Bairnardo
Generally speaking, Scotland caps like McGinn and McGeouch are a significant upgrade on jobbers like Holt, Halliday etc. Unsure why they would be required to be of a standard to win the league next season since that is a completely unrealistic target for anyone except the staunchest of utter balloons. Better than whats currently there is whats required to build up. Rangers fans in still not getting it shocker. It must hurt so much to be getting bodied this badly off Celtic. Its evident in the level of mental expectations.

alta-pete
Doesn’t hurt but it certainly is tedious. We’ve got a GASL in charge, we don’t have a proper banking facility, he doesn’t have a UK banking facility to comply with Court rulings, we’ve two Directors resigned, we’ve overpaid Mexican alcoholics on the wage bill and I could go on...And the best you can come up with is standard Yer Da patter - ‘yer club died’?Cmon. I know it’s not Mensa in here at times but there’s surely no shortage of current ammunition if you’re feeling like you want a pop at us?

Well, they have already signed Arfield, who is definitely an upgrade on Andy Halliday so as long as Gerrard doesn't make a complete arse of this managing thing their recruitment actually has looked OK so far. No unknown Portuguese players, no fat Alcoholics, no over the hill centre backs (yet).

Meh, despite the fact what I said was probably true, I only wrote it to wind up a Hibee. The fact that its got a 'Well, Aberdeen and Falkirk fan frothing at the mouth is just an added yet unsurprising bonus.
Ira Gaines
"yer club died" is quite easily the worst thing that can be thrown at your sorry lot because you're the ones who sat and just watched it happen while everyone else watched and laughed. Everything that has happened since has been a good laugh, but nothing will be as funny as your lot going under. So "yer club died" will continue to be the thing that gets brought up. Bohemian
Even if Sevco do go out and get new players of a decent standard do they really think Celtic are gonna just sit back and watch and do nothing... No matter who Slippy brings in this season Celtic will still have a far stronger squad/team and a far superior manager and that's before they splash the cash if necessary.. No matter how many lapdogs and former gers tell ya you can win the league, you won't, you're in a fight for second, like the rest of us. Deal with it PS You can't afford John McGinn Edited June 7, 2018 by Bohemian

If you lot would just admit it happened, it'd lose its banter value and we'd have to talk about something else. You're right.Your club might not be dead, but keeping it alive in this state is starting to look like an act of cruelty. I wouldn't treat a sick hamster this badly.

If they are going to sign an over the hill Northern Irish defender they should just sign Aaron Hughes lol, he's probably cheaper
