A manager for one of the supposed diddy teams turns them down without even speaking to them, despite Milne making it clear he would have let him. Can't afford to buy a player, so take him on loan, and then say the other team wanted that. Nah, I'm fairly sure they wanted the seven figure sum for a player who won't be playing for them for the rest of the season.
