Ranaldo Bairn
Indeed, when belts began to be tightened, they took the opposite route from sense, and stated that they "deserve/d better" one cold night at McDiarmid. Quite remarkable. Edited January 12, 2018 by Ranaldo Bairn
jagfox
No money in the bank + Not enough commercial income to see out the season + No credit facilities + £15 million in soft loans = financially stable?

I think we raised just over half a million through the poorly organised RFFF, which was obviously never going to be enough. Diddy fans boasting about "saving their club" is laughable. There's no comparison to be made, but I think most normal people realise that. In other news, Atletico at around 2/1 tonight looks like free money, assuming they bring a decent team. Not enough “company” in this post. #slipping

What did you buy with your free money?

ilostmyself
I would possibly doubt this guys business credentials if he thinks he needs £429m to buy Rangers.

Cerberus
£429m is a bargain for the most successful team in the world.

professor challenger
Serious question, why would anyone who isn't a supporter make a major investment in a Scottish team? Without accessing the latter stages of the Champions League there's little profit to be made. Revenue streams from the media and advertisers are minimal so I fail to see the motivation.
