There will most certainly be players leaving which will allow us to do some business in the transfer market. To think we won't bring anyone in is wishful thinking. The players I mentioned earlier are the ones who probably have the most promise at this stage with Lowry already showing up well in the handful of first team appearances he has had.

Of course this meant your board done proper due diligence on getting the right manager in taking their time to get the appointment right and appointment a manager who would inspire and motivate the players to win another league title and a guarantee of £20m at least. Or, did they go for the former player and Oranjeman with the 30% win rate in China of all places ?? They didn’t did they ?? Did they ?? Really ??

We scored four against Dortmund away FFS. Gerrard managed to get us pumped out the Champions League by a bang average Malmö No Champions League group stages resulted in little money available in transfer window! Vital we get that income next season as we can’t rely on punching above our weight in Europa League

gannonball
I don’t think much of this seasons demise is down to Gio tbh. I don’t think they would be in much of a different situation if Gerrard was still there. Sustained success is hard to do with the same team and a good few seem to have chucked it, one January transfer window isn’t going to sort that.
