Was just about to mention this, but others seem to get a bit peeved reading about it so I think I’ll start a new thread in the Rangers v Celtic section

I would say of the last four managers, Clement included, only Van Bronckhorst appeared to have more managerial gravitas than him. Gerrard was the Hollywood appointment with little tactical acumen to back it up as shown by his posts since Rangers, and the least said about Beale the better. It would appear they've given massive financial backing to the least qualified to spend it, leaving the experienced managers with not a pot to piss in. Ah know...... Feckin' marvellous, isn't it ?

stressball
I wonder how much Rangers had to pay to the marketing lad they sacked because their fans discovered he worked at and supports Celtic…

Worked in a marketing type role. They were told to wipe social media accounts or set it private and start a new one.

2426255
Dinamo Kyiv is strike one for Phillipe Clement as far as the fanbase is concerned. Rangers fans are wondering why the board offered him a new contract, but if you flip it back to Clements point of view you have to wonder what made him sign it? I don't think he can succeed with the fan expectations versus club capabilities. I hope he has some assurances from the Rangers Board otherwise he's put himself in a poor position by signing that contract. He took the job under false pretenses originally granted, but he only has himself to blame if he hasn't covered himself. If he gets sacked by Rangers under pressure to win the league then where does he go from there?

He’d probably get another job in Belgium or just chuck it.

I get that, just in terms of his management career I think he's chosen badly with Rangers and maybe Monaco before that.

He's not tactically good enough to get a "big" team who aren't a shambles, IMO.
AJF
At this rate, I really wouldn't blame Clement if he walked. Putting aside any opinions of his managerial ability, he really has been sold down the river by the board.
Bairnardo
For all Rangers are papped out the Champions League, and theres potential for extreme LOLZ when they meet Celtic/someone decent in the Europa, the real toxicity starts when they start failing to beat diddy sides. Any predictions on when I can maybe pencil that in?
stressball
Rangers would surely never go for such a discriminatory hiring policy…
