Even the likes of Arsenal last season sent out strong line-ups throughout the tournament. Sky Sports team news on Arsenals first Europa league game last season v Cologne Team news Alexis Sanchez started for Arsenal following his highly-publicised summer transfer saga, while Jack Wilshere was named in the squad for the first time since August 2016. There were nine changes in total, with Alex Iwobi and Ainsley Maitland-Niles getting starts. Highly-rated German goalkeeper Timo Horn started for the visitors.
craigkillie
Not an U21 team by any stretch though. Matiland-Niles and Holding were the only guys in the starting line-up without international caps, and they made 15 and 12 Premier League appearances respectively last season. Their front three was Sanchez, Walcott and Giroud.
realmadrid
Realistically how many points can the old firm get after today's draws? It would be superb if somehow we can get to 28 points for the season, giving 7 coefficient points but that needs 6 wins in the rest of the season.
Monkey Tennis
The sight of diddy fans salivating about the draw for the OF teams truly disgusts me.

badgerthewitness
Stephen Dobbie's favourite team earning a surprise draw and lifting Scotland's 18/19 total to a laudable 4.250, Celtic still to play.
Ginaro
Update after this week's games. A win and a draw makes it our best season score since 07/08, and closes the gap to Belarus who got a win from BATE Borisov against the weakest team in their group. Serbia gained some points thanks to Red Star 0-0 but they have two away games at PSG and Liverpool next. 19 Serbia 5.500 21.750 +0.250 1 UCL 20 Belarus 3.500 20.375 +0.500 1 UEL 21 Scotland 4.750 20.125 +0.750 2 UEL 22 Poland 2.250 19.250 0 23 Sweden 2.375 19.150 1 UEL 24 Norway 4.125 18.950 2 UEL 25 Israel 2.625 18.625 0 https://kassiesa.home.xs4all.nl/bert/uefa/data/method5/crank2019.html Edited September 20, 2018 by Ginaro

PauloPerth
From what I can tell, this has been Scotland's best season in terms of coefficient points since 2007-08. That ended up a huge 10.25 points so unlikely to get anywhere near it. Won't make any significant difference in the grand scheme of things I guess.

We can definitely catch Serbia. Only need a combined 7 more points than Red Star. To catch Cyprus we need 11 more points than their two sides in the EL get so can't see us catching them though. Looking up rather than looking behind us,widening the gap between us and Poland,Sweden and Norway. When the 14/15 season drops off Norway and Israel go above Scotland.

ssdon
Been a good season for Rangers, another good win last night. Celtic have been shite all season, still managed to beat us though Sure both teams will add to the points we already have, big 2 games for Rangers now, 4 points from the 2 games and I think they will then qualify for knock outs.
