Apparently you can lose one by yourself, as Gerrard did.

Nah. Had nothing to do with the points lost because of their absolutely brutal defending for most of the season. That Palace game remains the one where they lost it. A game that they had won, and bottled the league in the end.

Arsenal should have bought Williams a transfer window or two back. As it is they'll be down to the minimum against Liverpool then may well have Jonny Evans as an option later.

Hes nowhere near good enough for the CL

Nah disagree ... it was the Chelsea game. Losing that one took it out of their hands and into Man City's.

20 minutes after the final whistle City are flying out the tunnel at Palace and into an early lead.

Fucking hell. Is this based on him scoring 2 goals against Everton? Ashley Williams shouldn't be £12m as it is. Man is 32 years old in 12 days time and I'm sure I read somewhere that he has a wonky knee. Undoubtedly a great defender but never that amount of money. Plus he supports Liverpool which is just outrageous. Burn the witch! Additionally, Bolasie being linked for £30m is ridiculous too.

Aye, for all the comments about Pogba's fee the money being paid out for Bolasie is absolutely obscene.

Before that Palace game, they were level on points with City, but were 9 goals worse off on goal difference.  City had two fairly easy games left at home to Aston Villa and West Ham, and it was highly likely they were going to win both.  Liverpool knew going into that game that they needed to win it heavily, which is why they kept pushing hard when they were leading 3-0.  Had they even taken a point from the Chelsea game, they wouldn't have had to worry about goal difference, and would most likely have seen out the Palace game comfortably.

Bristol City are in it twice? I've read at the bottom who they play but why has this happened?
