dogmc
Melvyn King, former Governor of the Bank of England - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-eu-referendum-36641046 "Volatility in UK shares following the vote to leave the EU is "no reason for any of us to panic", the former governor of the Bank of England says. "Lord Mervyn King predicted the long-term effect of a Brexit on GDP would turn out to be "a bit of a fuss about nothing". "In a BBC interview, he also accused the Remain campaign of treating people considering voting Leave like "idiots". "He said voters had not been impressed by "scaremongering tactics"." In fairness I've never seen a governor of the boe say 'right this is the time to panic it's all fucked'.
Bishop Briggs
In fairness I've never seen a governor of the boe say 'right this is the time to panic it's all fucked'. It was a very public rebuke to Osborne and possibly Carney too. His comments indicate very strongly that King supported Brexit. He could become an important player in the negotiation debate over the next months.

Ross.
Godzilla and The Marshmallow Man are from outside the EU. Can anyone confirm if they entered the country legally?
Mortar Bored
I've actually got a bit of respect for King, he was heavily critical of the banks paying bonuses in 2009 and wasn't too bad a guvnor. But his Lordship will have to try to steady the ship.

Cerberus
King is probably not too keen to admit Brexit been a complete mess after backing it.
Michael W
The only two currencies the Pound isn't at a 52 week low against are the Mexican Peso and the Argentinian Peso. Just a blip, though.

Antlion
Ah dear. Isn't it about time Scotland cut itself free of this failing union and rejoined the world? Pretty soon the only economy in greater and swifter decline will be the Antarctican snowflake.
