Surprised at how little has been said in reaction to Smith saying he wants to negotiate with Daesh. Considering that foreign policy is perceived to be Corbyn's weakest area and he's generally portrayed as a terrorist loving nutter that should have been somewhere that Smith could really hurt him, but instead Smith's the one who looks like the incompetent idiot who doesn't have the slightest understanding of the Middle East and is making it up as he goes along. He's going to be trounced.

Staggering how it isn't news. Corbyn was slaughtered for suggesting talks should be held with Hezbollah and Hamas didn't he?

It's almost as if the MSM are applying different standards in their reporting of Corbyn and Smith.  Surely that can't be the case, can it?

I noticed it had been reported on the BBC's website and fully expected to see such a massive fucking own goal reported in the papers and TV news, considering the glee with which mostly made up stories about harassment of female Labour MPs is reported. How terribly strange.

Corbyn will still win of course, which will make the ensuing mass heads-gone absolute popcorn stuff.
