Red Dead Redemption

This thread making me want to play through again.

Is the game much different if you play as an utter b*****d?
Alternate endings apparently. I haven't watched the video yet of all the endings but I was about half and half with Arthur and thought the ending was 'nice'.

I think Im going to struggle to finish the game as a good guy. I did have it at the top but then started doing the bandit challenges
When I was trying to get my honour up a bit I just used to greet folk constantly when I passed anyone. After about 3 you get a white hat. If you release fish back after catching them you get a white hat as well.

Very bittersweet. Loved every minute, even when I was frustrated finding birds!

Onto Assassins Creed Odyssey now. IMG_20200609_012851002.jpeg

Completely opposite type of game in that it prioritises convenience over immersion. Still took me at least a month to 100% though! It's massive.

I'm too much of an arsehole to have good honour.  It's great just exploding people in valentine with explosive shotgun shells.

If you choose to be a dick, should you still do white dot missions, or should you just execute the initiator to avoid doing good deeds? If I am going to do this, Inwant to do it right.
If you want to experience the missions just shoot them at the end.
Going to play it from the beginning again today to see if I like it as much as the rest of you. Gave it up in favour of Borderlands.
I don't envy you the start! I loved the game but the snow was hard-going.

Have you ever considered playing any good video games?

If you think RDR isn't good why bother coming into the thread? Strange behaviour.

To read about all the people bouncing off RDR2

Borderlands is good fun. Pissed off that I'm stuck on the main story because I don't have the right weapon. Got to keep doing side quests to get one and I cba.

Yeah enjoying Red Dead, can't even remember the snow bit at the start, been over a year since I played it.
