Loondave1
Correct, even Arbroath playing badly will always get a bigger crowd than Forfar. I don't know why they get so defensive about the numbers. Cowden have poor attendances, we just have to live with it. Maybe that's what we are doing wrong. crowd for next home game 614 ( please ignore Mr HMRC ) Apart from they haven't done that and i refer you to my earlier average figures. Loonytoons
Come on now, how could you possibly do a head count at a football game??? Maybe your figures are way shorter than the ones given [emoji6] To be honest, the comment about counting heads was just a set up for the following poor joke. Many top flight games in Estonia have less than 100 in attendance. In the Balkan countries games at tier 3 & 4 have the sort of crowds normally associated with Forth Wanderers v Benburb on a damp Tuesday in November. I was convinced the original statement was nothing more than a fishing exercise from ClydeSoccerTrendy, so I didn't bother to respond. (It's taken an Arbroath fan to bite before it's all surfaced again!) In amongst the photos of the match on the Forfar Facebook page, there's one of a section of the crowd applauding at the end. (I think it was the team we were applauding, not the officials). There's at least 100 in that photo I reckon. (plus the 1 who was in the Clyde end obviously!!) HibeeJibee
It also doesn't take into account the number of games. In certain countries they play considerably fewer than 36 league games.
