Nightmare
He's possibly a victim of circumstance in Leipzig. They achieved way above expectations last season. It's possible he'd still be in their long term plans if they were working their way up in the Bundesliga and could afford to carry a "project", but they've come up and are instantly a top side, meaning it probably makes more sense for them to just sign someone better instantly.

I think you are being overly generous. It really reflects appallingly on Burke that they are cutting ties, and making it so clear it has nothing to do with talent. He was always signed as a long term project.
MarkoRaj
I'll leave this in the believe it when I see it folder along with Gauld's imminent arrival back in the UK that's been talked about since he left

Ease up there....its not even been confirmed n every interview Burke has done has shown him to be a smart articulate lad who is fully aware of his weaknesses n keen to address them. Frankly he comes over as significantly more mature than the chippy little p***k managing the Scotland team. It reflects appallingly on a certain demographic that they are desperate to take glee in prospect of young Scottish players perhaps not fulfilling their potential.

Gordopolis
Apparently Burke was in the squad for Leipzig's game but was removed shortly before it began. All points to a move.
Dullard Bluteau
Rarely works out for UK players abroad, maybe best to come home to Scotland and start again.

ginge123
Called up to the under-21s today. I didn't realise that it would be his first under-21s cap if he plays.
Afro
Apparently on his way to WBA for a medical, according to Keith Downie of SSN. £15m fee. Tony Pulis will definitely help him build upon the skills he's honed at Leipzig. Very disappointed by this move tbh.

That said, he and Phillips will make a good wing threat.
Paco
Plenty competition for places with McClean, Phillips, McManaman and even Rodriguez/Chadli in the wide zones. Would expect he'll slot in at number three behind Phillips & McClean for now. A bit disappointing but if he can get a game regularly for a club like West Brom he'll be in the Scotland line-up in no time. Does he now occupy the top two places in the "most expensive Scottish player" league?
