The not bloody dangerous at all looking camera position at Dundee North End! Also the fence round the pitch was previously used on the Tay Road Bridge.

And the camera box was part of the original Tay Rail Bridge.

I'm no expert in photography but I think they might have forgotten a vital piece of equipment.

Cracking ariel picture of Easter Road mid development, with the new stands behind the goals being in place and the old main stand still in use, late 90's methinks, Arthurs Seat in the background looking splendid in the early evening sundown.

Hamish McAlpine tweeted by the excellent Picture This Scotland. Which ground is this?

Season 75/76. So might be able to work it out from that?

My guess would be away to Ayr.

Then again, are there any houses that close to Somerset?

There were tenements across the road from the main stand. They were knocked down early to mid seventies. My first thought was Ayr but I never saw the tenements.

Its definetely the Shire.

That's the flats in Victoria road behind before they were given the sandstone treatment in the 80's.

Dundee United didnt face East Stirling while McAlpine was there. Last time they met before the recent cup game was 1964, McAlpine didn't start playing for them until 1966
