O'Kelly Isley III
Now the f*ckers are arguing about the most useless, pointless 'debate' in history. F*ck you all, you f*cking f*cks. Any TV debate which is based around the binary choice between May's deal and No deal is in itself an affront to democracy, and we are in real danger of allowing audience ratings to effectively help determine the UK's future. There are millions of Remain voters and many who, like Sturgeon, recommend remaining in the Single Market and Customs Union - this contrived shoot-out will not air either.Never mind that, as an exercise in watchable TV this will be the most dismal pairing since Little & Large.
banana
Can we not just get a load of chicks with spectacular boobs to have a massive 'debate' in a small studio using water pistols and trampolines? Channel 5 should run this at the same time May and Corbyn go at it #ratingswin
ICTJohnboy
Just hearing on BBC Radio 4 news that since the referendum 145,000 EU migrants have now left the UK, whilst immigration from the EU has fallen by 74,000 over the past 2 years, so overall there has been a 22% drop in the number of EU migrants now resident in the UK. Conversely, immigration from non EU countries - particularly India, Pakistan, Nigeria and Turkey has risen by 248,000 - the highest total since 2004. Is this what all those who voted to leave were hoping for when they cast their votes back in 2016?

How can there can possibly be a drop in the number of EU citizens in the UK when the net figure is still +74,000? You have been spending too much time in those Burnley boozers.

I have asked a few searching questions here and there - mainly in pubs. Unfortunately my research very often ends up with me getting thrown out of said pubs. I think the bottom line is that far more EU migrants are leaving the UK than arriving here, which is hardly surprising. Are you disputing that fact?

Today the government's figures reported that in the past year 74,000 more EU migrants came to the UK than left. The number of EU citizens living in the UK has increased every single year without fail since 1991. speckled tangerine
I've been wondering if the first referendum was "advisory" why the second one couldn't be binding? The electorate sure as f**k have an idea of the issues at this stage.
Paco
I’m certainly of the opinion that the SNP, Lib Dems and DUP - at the very least - should’ve been included in the debate. But 55% of the Scottish vote at the last election sees the party leader represented in it. Almost 1.5 million votes for the Tories and Labour. Don’t think saying Scotland has ‘no voice’ is at all true, regardless of your opinion on the parties concerned.
