Granny Danger
Macron is apparently wanting assurances from May on various points. May is a lame duck PM who is committed to step down as soon as the WA is agreed. Any assurances she gives are totally worthless.
Granny Danger
Time for Corbyn to call off this charade of talks. He has rightly accused May of time wasting in the past, now he’s facilitating that time wasting.

Not leaving is letting all of us down, and that includes those who voted to remain. On the 23 rd of June 2016 we were asked one question. To leave or remain. Is not complicated. One question was asked, we got the answer. You're forgetting all the people that voted to join the common market in the 70s. It would be undemocratic to disregard the wishes of the majority. The only way the two plebiscite can be reconciled is the Norway option. So the only way democracy wins is for us to be in the same position but without any say. Or maybe these things can change.

Even a simple guesstimate would tell you that on a 51.9% to 48.1% there would be a clear majority for such a deal. Most of the 48.1% would back a Norway deal - it would only need a small part of the Leave vote to get a majority. I'd bet my bottom dollar that there is a significant part of the Leave vote that would have accepted that from the off. The biggest issue is that the Brexit route chosen is one to appease racist gammons and liars. Nothing more, nothing less.

A simple desire to do it was all that was needed. Never did understand why they had to build all those giant rockets - a large balloon would have been simpler and easier.

Granny Danger
Leadsom asked what she hoped May would get out of her discussion with Merkel. “I hope she agrees to reopen the Withdrawal Agreement”. The woman’s a fucking zoomer.

welshbairn
We voted to stay in the common market. When did we vote to join the EU?Our elected representatives approved the various treaty changes, it's the way democracy works in the UK. Referendums have been a disastrous whacky experiment.
