Brexit slowly becoming a Farce.

It's not quite as simple as that. Any product that currently requires third party conformity assessment and had its original assessment carried out by a UK 'notified body' will have to have the product retested. Once that has been done (perhaps by seperate testing houses for the EU & UK markets?) it will have to be marked with the CE mark before it can be sold in the EU, and the new UKCA mark before it can be sold in the UK.

So, there's an immediate example of new red tape madness & costs for any manufacturer who sells in the UK & EU. Wonderful.

Remember when people like John Redwood used to complain about red tape and went on about the Tories being the Party of Business?

Forward to 2019.

Neither do I but it's looking like we're going to get some form of deal whether we want it or not.

What would we gain by leaving without a deal? We'd be back begging for one again the next day.

Macron is apparently wanting assurances from May on various points.

May is a lame duck PM who is committed to step down as soon as the WA is agreed.  Any assurances she gives are totally worthless.

We voted to leave.

Not leaving is letting all of us down, and that includes those who voted to remain.

On the 23 rd of June 2016 we were asked one question.

To leave or remain.

Is not complicated.

One question was asked, we got the answer.

You're forgetting all the people that voted to join the common market in the 70s. It would be undemocratic to disregard the wishes of the majority. The only way the two plebiscite can be reconciled is the Norway option. So the only way democracy wins is for us to be in the same position but without any say.

Or maybe these things can change.

As I have said all along.

Even a simple guesstimate would tell you that on a 51.9% to 48.1% there would be a clear majority for such a deal. Most of the 48.1% would back a Norway deal - it would only need a small part of the Leave vote to get a majority. I'd bet my bottom dollar that there is a significant part of the Leave vote that would have accepted that from the off.

The biggest issue is that the Brexit route chosen is one to appease racist gammons and liars.

Nothing more, nothing less.

Yes and when President Kennedy said "let's put a man on the moon", it didn't require anyone to figure out how to do it.
A simple desire to do it was all that was needed.

Never did understand why they had to build all those giant rockets - a large balloon would have been simpler and easier.

Don't put James O'Brien into You tube then.

Still to hear 1 who understood what they voted for and have a good reason for doing so

Shame that O'Brien's programme doesn't get to reach a wider audience - it is good that the morons  sorry, misguided are highlighted on youtube :

Just now, Granny Danger said:

Leadsom asked what she hoped May would get out of her discussion with Merkel.  “I hope she agrees to reopen the Withdrawal Agreement”.

The woman’s a fucking zoomer.

Key word here is "hope". Hope is all these f**king Tory zoomers have at this stage.

Folk still making out that the EU is some sort of mad dictatorship that forces loads of laws on us

Folk still making out that it's some sort of seperate entity and we don't have a say in what it does

Folk basically not having a fucking clue what the EU is and just believing the lies and nonsense from the media

Folk who didn't give a shit about the EU until the Tories started banging on about it a few years back who now make out that they've always cared

The same folk who never voted in EU elections

And of course it's entirely the EU's fault that Theresa May can't get her own fucking government to agree on a deal!

Can I just not win the lottery?

I put it on to win.

Not winning it is letting me down, and that includes those who also put on a ticket.

Last friday I was asked one question.

These numbers or those numbers.

Is not complicated.

One question was asked.

Leadsom is the textbook example of the Dunning-Kruger effect.

We voted to stay in the common market. When did we vote to join the EU?
