Benjamin_Nevis
The "vermin" chat reminds me of this. If anything summed up the Tory government's treatment of the poor and vulnerable, it's this line from the DWP's response to an appeal:

If Oaksoft wishes to fill the role I can provide details...

Mastermind
Really? You deal with the effects of people being able to own their own cars, homes, PCs, tablets and home entertainment systems, who can now afford a standard of living that was unheard of prior to 1979 and who can now enjoy levels of education their ancestors could only dream of? Or are you talking about the tiny fraction of people living chaotic who have fallen through the cracks of every government (Tory, Labour, Liberal and SNP) since people emerged from caves and started to forage for food? I'm just trying to get a handle on which particular moral ground you have decided to occupy here. This hits the nail on the head, a great post. I see Day of the Lords has been pretty much silenced, certainly hasn’t provided a response to this.

I have also extensively debated the benefits system and universal credit before, and absolutely owned him. There is little to gain by going over the same tedious ground again. If there's nothing else, feel free to crawl back under your rock.

Or have you been rattled so much that you’ve had to desperately lie to try and save face. Pleasing.

Pleasing. I have no intention of trawling through your grubby posting history, however your contributions on the lorry thread were enough of an indicator as to your unpleasant mindset. Unsure why you think I'd be rattled though, perhaps wishful thinking on your part.

sjc
The problem for remain is that only London, Scotland and Northern Ireland voted as such. Far more Parliamentary seats voted to leave. Will that be reflected in the upcoming GE?
