Aye, Trusty and Rowley withdrew at the point before they could be forced to continue. If that doesn’t send a signal to other potential lawyers for Trump then f**k knows what will. Loved this bit in Smiths latest submission. Basically he’s saying that whilst the subject matter is significant, the law relating to it is very straightforward and “does not present novel questions of facts or law”. Routinely talks of aides having to take stuff from his desk before he impulsively signs them. He was obsessed with trade deficits and could not have it explained to him how the ability for the American consumer to pay $250 dollars for a cheap Korean TV rather than $500 for an American one was good for the American economy because it gave the US consumer more money to spend on other goods and services in the US.
