On the subject of attendances, and since they are both featuring heavily in this thread, when Stirling Albion played Auchinleck Talbot at Forthbank in 2009/10, the attendance was 1,185, of which 643 were from Ayrshire. Make of that what you will.

I've seen this mentioned twice now today, is this the thing where a couple of busloads of English anoraks come up for a weekend and cram in as many games as they can, and are provided with a badge, a programme, and a game to watch which they can tick off their list? Some clubs having to kick-off at 5.00 on a Saturday night to accomodate their requirements?

Jeezo, that really shows the Juniors are not at the races...... (although I understand the West Region have been approached by these bods......)

Get a grip lol, what on earth is patronising about pointing out that this is hardly anything to crow about when listing the achievements of the Lowland League! as I said, they'll probably be doing the Juniors next season.

I'm pretty sure when Auchinleck went to Hearts it was the biggest away support at tynecastle all season outside the old firm and Hibs. No bad for a wee junior team fae a small village in east Ayrshire.

8,895 actually, was only looking at games hosted by Junior clubs.

As I said a while back, Junior clubs bring a lot to the early rounds of the competition and these figures iillustrate that, perhaps more should be allowed to enter.

Woa woa , cowboy ....... was ISA not helping on the gate or cash office at Tynecastle that day ....... hence the impressive crowd figure

That attitude comes from the deluded attitude displayed by a lot of junior fans towards the seniors. This isn't hard to see and has been pointed out on several occasions.

We're all delighted Morton shagged you on Saturday because of the pre match comments. Usually I'd want the underdog to win every single time.
 

 

The vast majority of the poor and derogatory pre match comments were from morton fans/trolls but feel free to express whatever you feel to fit your very own agenda. :huh:

Haha, no manufactured crowd estimate this time ma aul trampoline hopper pal, were not called the Talbot army for nothing remember. Am sure we got a mention about it not too long ago in one of the daily rags when they were taking about juniors in the senior cup.
