He will probably be nudged out the door. Yeah he's been a poor signing (on the pitch) - presume this case has affected him! Club statement "We are now aware of today's Court judgement regarding David Robertson. At present, we can make no further comment until we have the full details available for us to consider and review. In the interim, David Robertson will not be considered for selection by Cowdenbeath FC."
kennysmassiveego
If they are both "released" from their contracts surely it will depend on the wording . Some clever agents may have inserted clauses that prohibit their release unless there have been criminal proceedings undertaken . How does this equate to today's decision ? It's amazing to think that five or six years ago Goodwilliie was starting for Scotland and probably our brightest prospect. Good chance he's finished in football completely now. Imagine someone like Ronaldo or Neymar was accused like this. Zero chance they'd be released. Ronaldo wouldn't need to rape anyone IMO. He's a pure hunny. He'd be turning them away. Look at McNamara - he's still raping York City, even when he's no longer the manager. I forgot all about Jackie at York. Just had a look at their website - this weekend's match sounds interesting! Quote ON SATURDAY 21st January, York City welcome Barrow to Bootham Crescent for our Vanarama National League return fixture (3.00pm). As has been well documented in the local media, some unsavoury incidents took place after the match on Saturday 24th September that resulted in injuries to York City supporters on their way home from the game. We would like to make clear to everyone associated with York City that we, as a Club, apportion no blame or responsibility for these incidents to Barrow Football Club or their excellent fanbase. However, due to activity on social media wishing to create ill-feeling between the two sets of supporters, this match could potentially cost York City Football Club a significant four-figure sum in policing costs. Should any further incidents arise on the day of the game, this figure will rise to a level that will have a negative financial effect on the Club in our fight to maintain our National League status. So, we would urge our supporters to be mindful of the above facts, and provide the great Yorkshire welcome we afford to every club that visits the city of York, as both sides look forward to what should be an excellent game of football. They are still bottom of the league and are 5 points away from escaping the drop.

Rugster
I have nothing to add to the debate other than a general musing as to whether @ICTChris has some sort of court news email alert thing going on. Always first with the rulings.
Miguel Sanchez
9 hours ago, Mark Connolly said: He was released after his conviction, which would probably be considered the equivalent. Whether or not McCormick should have been re-signed following his incarceration is a different matter. There is an argument to suggest that he is entitled to go about his job following his rehabilitation. Some people may argue that he is not entitled to the high profile life he enjoys as a footballer considering the crime in question. It's a very difficult situation. He's an entertainer, not a footballer.

dundeebarry
I know a lassie who once attended a perty at Davie Teckledong's abode. Over the course of the evening she (willingly) sucked his cock not once but twice and, quite fucking savagely, pinched his Sky remote before leaving. Two blowjobs or not, that's bad etiquette.
