It certainly goes with black pudding and sausages. Very inventive.

A Fiorentina pizza will usually have an egg cracked on it. Delicious. Folk shouldn't knock it until they've tried it.

I was looking for an image of Batistuta eating a Florentine pizza when I stumbled on this story

Napoli eatery 'Show Pizza' has offered €1 pizza when the 28-year-old striker suffers his first injury for his new club, and bitter rivals, Juventus.

The Neopolitans will likely fold their pizza too, in order to eat it without it slopping about.

Cut a piece of meat
Lay down knife
Transfer fork to other hand
Insert said meat in to mouth

It's fascinating to watch, though.

Eh?  Don't you have another hand?

Christ I'm hopeless at following directions.

I'll try again.
Right-handed person presumably starts with fork in left hand and knife in right hand.
cuts the meat and lays down knife.
transfers fork to other hand (right hand) which is their predominant hand.
I'm kippy-handed so the fork is already in my predominant hand.
Then insert said meat into mouth.

Is that right?

I was intrigued by wee willies teabag strainer and it led me to this

Anybody got tongs for toast??

Yes, I have toast tongs but not magnetic ones. I also use scissors to cut pizza - cut while on oven tray (tray does not get damaged as it could with pizza wheel or knife) then transfer slice to plate. Pizza goes back in oven do it keeps warm until ready for next slice.

The Neopolitans who run the relatively upscale Locanda Di Gusta on Dalry Road have opened a more cheap and cheerful Pizzeria across the road I can heartily recommend it to anyone who's hungry between Tynecastle and Haymarket.

It's called "Pizza 1926" (after the year SSC Napoli were founded)

Somebody actually gave me them but they don't work because the toaster's aluminium. Binned them.
