Shambles this game should have been switched to Loch Park earlier this week as Dunterlie was always struggling after the Pollok game.

Any team who played at home last week were always going to struggle to play at home this week

Correct, nobody should be given 2 home games in a row at this time of year

Lugar were given three home games leaving them with only one at home and five including their cup tie away. Home to kello(,last week) Dalry(today) and muirkirk next week. We almost had Lugar playable but there were some very heavy areas up the middle which were dangerous

There was a 2 hour downpour between 11 and about 1. I was on the pitch just after the inspection (which was done by the match ref just before 10) and it wasn't struggling, there was 1 are that was causing some concern but the ref was happy with it. The 2 hour downpour left a significant portion of the pitch.

If the rain hadn't come on when it did & with the intensity it did the match would of taken place. With the game being off Arthurlie have suffered significant loses with us having match sponsors in today.

It's easy to say let's switch by why should we give up a home Saturday match when it look until around 1pm the game was going to go ahead?

Not a 2 hour downpour., was nearing Barrhead and not a drop of rain, if the game was in doubt, should have been put off without any supporters travelling 40 miles and being turned back! That's 2 times in 3 weeks glenafton fans have been at the ground and game called off! NOT GOOD ENOUGH!

Now you are talking shite. What part of it passed a pitch inspection by the match referee do some Glenafton fans not get. Going by your logic we should just over rule the match referee so Glens fans might not be inconvenienced.

Oh and by the way, exactly the same thing happened to us going to Loch Park a couple of years ago and we never moaned as it wasn't Glens fault.

Get over it.

Had to have known there was doubt that game would be played. Weather wise you know days like that can throw up lots of rain outta nowhere.add that to the beating the pitch took in a derby match last week and common sense dictates high chance of game off! Disgrace

Do pitches get more worn during derby games? just shows you!
