People have such short memories. We are a much better team under him than others in recent years. Yes, recent performances have not been good but let the man get things right. Tonight proved the players are right behind him. Booing your own players was shocking as well. Square passes getting booed. Shocking. The boo boys were wanting us to lose so Strachan would leave. You need to remember Slovenia have been to recent World cups and Euros and they've only had 1 shot at goal. Tierney at right-back was inspired and Armstrong and Brown were good. Get behind the team, end of!!!

I feel we have the players to qualify, but it fucking astounds me that they never seem to get picked. Strachan is giving caps to the boys and not even trying to pick players who are on form no matter what domestic club they play for.

Hiya Gordon, that was quick.

Strachan is a failure, and unless he pulls of a miraculous turnaround he should be remembered as such. Tonight was a good win, nothing more.

You would rather see us lose or draw than win a game ? That my good sir would be my perfect definition of a bitter arsehole well played.

not entirely, there is a means to an end, say strachan manages to get a decent run going until the end of the qualifiers, draw against england, beat slovakia etc, we finish 2nd but miles away from best runners up or finish 3rd but close, strachan would likely get the next qualifiers and the shambles of the lithuania at home amongst others will be forgotten amongst paper talk of "glorious failure" and "braveheart warriors fought to the end"

Can't wait for us to scrape a win over England then lose 1-0 in Lithuania lads. Can't wait.

Anyway - I don't think he should be a starter for Scotland, but you'd need a heart of stone not to be pleased for Martin bagging such a late winner. Maybe not for Strachan or McGhee perhaps, who I happen to think are still absolute bellends (Strachan's comments pretty much to the effect of "I don't give a shit what you think, I have enough f**k-you money that if I want I never have to work another day and could be off playing golf", unless they were misrepresented, are horrific)

How anyone can watch that and say Brown was shite is beyond me. He was absolutely terrific. Some really good performances from a number of players. Armstrong carried his club form into tonight, could have been his 50th cap tonight he looked so assured.

Brown wasn't shite. He wasn't great either but did what he had to do and I'm not sure Darren Fletcher would've done better so fair doos. For Neil McCann to suggest Brown was "a driving force" and MOTM though... F**k off. Armstrong was streets ahead.

If Tierney worked on his right foot him and Robertson would be absolutely incredible to have on each flank. Tierney was indeed excellent.

Speaks volumes when he plays for one side of the OF and everyone in the country loves the guy. Great attitude, incredible for his age and plays well beyond his years. So reliable.

As it stand's we would not make the play offs as we would have the worst record of second place teams .

That's because you are 4th not 2nd. To get to 2nd you will need to win some more games by which time you will more than likely have a record good enough for the play offs.
