and the police will tell no one?

and the league admin staff will tell no one??

Interesting logic to be fair for next season . Should just not tell rangers or Celtic fans the date of the fixture in the split and then sursprise us all with an announcement on the morning of the game .

And there is a possibility that a Rangers/Celtic match on the last day of this season will be a title decider?

No but the logical thing to do is get it out the way as quickly as possible in the polices eyes . What difference does it actually make to you anyway when the final rangers and Celtic game is played this season . Seems a rather pointless thing to lose your head over

Make it like those secret gigs some bands announce.

Post it on club twitter feed 1 hour before kick off, dont give the venue either just a clue.

Today's venue : a football ground situated in glasgows east end . Everybody turns up at parkhead only to find out it's being played at shettleson juniors

It doesn't make a difference. But why should one fixture be officially announced before the split and everyone else have to wait? Why not announce now when Aberdeen will play Celtic? Rangers aren't even in second place FFS.

Saints can secure top six today, and if they do then I await the news of one of our fixtures before everybody elses.. Oh wait.

Clearly shown yet again that there is one rule for 2 clubs, and another rule for the other 40. Sooner the utter fucking clowns in charge at the SPFL get the boot the better, have no interest in promoting the Scottish game beyond 4 hate filled bigot-fests a year, and everyone outwith the wee sectarian club is fucking fed up of it.

It's the police who would have made the decision rather than the spfl , why are so many failing to reliase this . My guess is that an event where 50 000 spectators are guaranteed in attendance and then everything else which goes with it takes a bit more planning and strategy to organise than every other game

Why does it need an official announcement then? Surely the police and clubs etc. can be informed without officially confirming it until all of the fixtures are done.

All this does is make a mockery of the split, and the notion that at some point everyone will be disadvantaged by it, when clearly the old firm are guaranteed to play 19/19, and each other home and away twice. The rest of the teams simply have to do as they're told even if they are severely disadvantaged by it.

Still trying to work out why people on here are fucking fuming.

Police request early announcement of one particular fixture which will have a large police and security operation.

Said date and announcement has absolutely no bearing on other teams league placing, fixtures etc.

Fans of said unnafected teams have collective meltdown on football forum.

Nope, sorry

Because it's just another example of the authorities in Scotland pandering to the old firm

It's says everything about your take on Scottish football that you can't see the unfairness in the usual two clubs being treated in a different way to every other club in the country. How can you not see that?

I think you just proved the dees point.

An evidence based statement of objective fact (by him) was inexplicably seen as an act of aggression by you.

There are supposed to be rules about post split scheduling

They have been discarded

The reason for this is that you and your pals cause havoc about a football match.

The reasons for this are tribalism, buckfast and stupidity.

The rules have been bent to accomodate these factors.

This is special treatment for fuckwits.

Cue shite meme.
