Couldn’t give a f**k if they are tories , SNP or the Monster Raving Loony party . it’s quite clear that some in Scotland are happy for some corruption as long it’s based near Arthur’s seat. Bizzare train of thought But do you really give a f**k if it's tories, SNP or MRLP? You're quick to jump in and criticize the SNP but how many times have you stepped into a thread to criticize the tories for being corrupt?
NotThePars
A lot of people are willingly ignoring the climate of MeToo and Sturgeon is completely correct to say if there was any indication that the SNP had attempted to cover for Salmond then she would still be sat there today arguing about the complete opposite.

Yup. I doubt Sturgeon or the SNP care very much about whether the victims receive justice. Their actions were driven entirely by public perception.

That's it. The issue is that he's this powerful figure and been so influential over the whole gov apparatus. If the civil service played to his tune and let him use procedure his way, it would have been seen as a stich up. Imagine the reaction if the Salmond and SNP appointed Lord Advocate dismissed the case after a few months.

Honest Saints Fan
This Margaret Mitchell is honestly the biggest moron I've ever watched. Cringing at her asking these questions.

If it does come down to it that she broke the ministerial code but the public perception was that she done it to try and ensure justice was served to the alleged victims do you think she walks?
Billy Jean King
Mitchell is utterly dreadful and should be nowhere near a procedure of this nature. She's tying herself in total knots here.

There is zero accountability in modern politics so there is no chance of her resignation.
