Good article on Stevie Cowan. Interesting to read the circumstances when big Jim Clunie let him go.

Presume references to players being "snapped up" as soon as they were free agents is a convenient euphemism for guys who had been tapped up by Fergie while they still weren't free agents.

Now you are just making things up.  I did say I would be quite happy when your team comes a cropper.  But will not gloat on your thread.  As tempting as that may be..

We are angry because we have just lost our great white hope.  We have next to no money and a threadbare squad as it is.

The funny thing is that had one of our defenders done the same to Ryan Strain you guys would react NO differently. 100% certain of that. And instead of defending our player I would have had every bit of sympathy with St Mirren.  But I guess that is where we differ.

One of your defenders made a worse tackle on Ryan Strain literally seconds later, we got lucky though.

Also one of your players injured Ayunga at the start of the year and he still hasn't returned yet.

These things happen in football, it definitely wasn't a horror tackle as your manager made out. Dunne apologised, your manager should too.

Just seen the tackle on Ayunga in Paisley by a Motherwell defender , actually very similar to Dunnes , where the tackle is hard and from the side . St Mirren didn't make a big deal out of it , though Ayunga was booked , when there should have been a penalty and a booking the other way .

According to their mob it’s totally different which is true, by about 6 months.

I see Kettlewell is at again stoking the fire by spouting more shite about not changing his mind about the Charles Dunne challenge.

According to an interview by the record sport on Twitter, Dunne wrapped his leg around the Well boy in what he insisted was a red card challenge.

I actually think he’s doing a decent job at Motherwell, in the past he spoke well and seems quite measured in his views about game related issues.

But he’s now showing why Ross County got shot of him, he’s now coming across like a bitter twat who wants to shirk all responsibility and deflect the fact he lost a game and it was down to him.

In summary he’s a bellend.

Vince, he's obviously never heard the old adage of "Quitting while you are behind"

He's continuing to make a James Hunt of himself, looks as though he's trying to endear himself to the Bois.....

The irony in Cowan talking about stepping up in class  , is that in Fergie's first season at Aberdeen , St Mirren were the only club that they failed to beat.

Here on holiday at the moment,  just checking if it is still possible to buy tickets at the ground for tomorrow's game or is it online only.?

You can buy tickets at the ground. The ticket office is open for a couple of hours before the game.

Was just in the shower and thinking to myself, 'could we do a Leicester?' I know that's ridiculous and is a bit like fantasising about winning the lottery, but I'm hoping to cling on to that dream for as long as possible.*

*Cue the 'St. Mirren fans are nuts, they've won two games and think they're going to win the league.'
