Zing.
Who’d have thought at the start of the season that Rocky being out injured for two months would’ve been bad news Definitely need two in now for centre half.

Can you imagine the state of the centre halves we try to bring in?

Wouldn’t surprise me if LJ walks at some point. The club better back him to get the position’s/players in he wants.
Number seven
Take it Hibs had to play against eleven men today at St mirren?
Zing.
Imagine we don’t actually sign anyone else This squad is easily relegation worthy. Chuck in a Boyle injury at some point and we’re properly fucked.
Lex
Take it Hibs had to play against eleven men today at St mirren?Yeah they suffered the said affliction for the whole dastard game. Easy, you can come back to Paisley whenever pleases. Every day of the week and twice on Sunday.

Aim Here
Hibs have played 484 minutes of League football so far this season. For about 7 of those minutes, Hibs have been leading the other team. We're fortunate that the final whistle blew once during those seven minutes.
Wee-Bey
Not enough pinging of lids in training imo.
djchapsticks
I was speaking to Kyle Magennis aunt at game yesterday who mentioned that he's scheduled to be back in full training with Hibs on Monday. Hopefully his injury issues can finally be put in the past. He's a had a very promising career potentially wrecked by ACL problems in both knees and then hamstring issues associated with those (common as they will take part of the hamstring whilst rebuilding knee injuries) but as St. Mirren have seen in the past, a player can f**k both knees, lost two years of their career and go on to fully recover, Darren McGregor is the prime example of this.
Leith Green
I posted this elsewhere, but thought it was worth putting here too - Since the 1st of January Hibs have won 4 league matches. Ross County, St Mirren, St Johnstone (x2) That is absolutely dire whatever way you look at it.

I can't remember a new manager looking so beleaguered so soon after arriving. Another post-match yesterday where he doesn't really attempt to shield the players at all - high risk strategy if there's really no more additions coming in. Hopefully things pick up for him (from 4th September onwards).

Well that's encouraging at-least, I hadn't known of McGregor's injury problems. I'd speculate however we'll struggle to see much from Kyle this season either, his fitness will take a fair while to rebuild I'd imagine and I'd worry that he'll be fairly injury prone throughout. There was a point where he was being touted as a silver bullet to our problems but I doubt we'll have that expectation now, just someone a little bit better than what we have already will suffice.

He tore his cruciate ligament against Hibs and was out for a full year. Came back and played three games and a player landed on his other knee at Tannadice in an accidental collision, done the same to his other leg and was out for a year again. He fully rehabbed both and went on to win POTY and moved to Championship supremos Rangers. Edited August 28, 2022 by djchapsticks
