Suppose that rules out Talbot as one of 'the five'. Two are already known so it's a guess of any of the other 13 West Premiership clubs.

They have nailed their colours to the mast quite publicly.  If a WoS get's off the ground for next season, will they therefore stick with the Juniors?

It'd hinge on how many big names go imo. Plus with an established tier 6 west feeder they'd have to move to reap the rewards of their ground improvements done with an eye to licensing.

Is the Talbot website on MySpace?

The statement is on their Facebook page.

It doesn't seem to be on their website or Twitter yet.

"
SCOTTISH FOOTBALL PYRAMID
Following the decision of the Lowland League & East of Scotland League not to support the recommendations of the Pyramid Working Group, for the Scottish Junior FA to Join the Pyramid System, Auchinleck Talbot FC wish to confirm that we will support the SJFA in their efforts to find a solution to this matter.

In the meantime ATFC will continue to work towards achieving Club Licensing in preparation for any possible future changes to the structure of our game, we can assure our fans that they will be kept informed at the earliest opportunity of developments, and that we will consult with them before any decision is made on the future of the club."
Jesus Christ.

Where to start with the inaccuracies in that statement. [emoji85][emoji1787]

Let's start with "recommendations of the Pyramid Working Group".

And

"Decision of LL and EoS not to support" these phantom recommendations.

Absolute "Did ye, aye". [emoji1787][emoji1787][emoji1787][emoji1787]

So far we can rule out Pollok, Rossvale, Cumnock, Talbot and Glencairn based on what has been posted.

So it's Kilwinning and Clydebank and three of Glenafton, Hurlford, Troon, Irvine, Beith, Kilbirnie, Largs, Benburb and Rob Roy.

Suspect Rossvale would be in if Benburb were and it won't be a club with no ground like Rob Roy, so it's probably three of  Glenafton, Hurlford, Troon, Irvine, Beith, Kilbirnie, Largs.

Considering both the LL and EOS are part of the PWG, any PWG recommendations are by extension also their recommendations. So are Talbot trying to say that both the LL and EOS decided not to support their own recommendations? 🤔

Just in case anyone doesn't get what's happening by now what they are probably referring to was the directive from the SFA board to faciltate SJFA entry. There is no solution to be had on that. The EoS and LL are opposed, and the SFA have walked away from the PWG process.
The SJFA couldn't facilitate their own entry, even with the absolute open goal in the West and the North.

That's f*ck all to do with the LL or EoS league.

If that statement has been written by someone who actually understands what's gone on through these discussions then it's an absolute riddy.

Largs are one I have a good feeling about, likewise Medda. As for club five from that list I'm stumped tbh.

So if the WOSL gets of the ground will TJ be trying to get the East and West Juniors in at tier six beside them.

If the WoSFL gets off the ground, TAJ no doubt will be haunting the corridors of Hampden in an attempt to get the SFA to block it in some way, it's his last hope to keep the SJFA relevant.
