Can't remember the band name, as I'm geting on a bit now... It was Last Year's Men. Loved this one in my teenage metalhead phase, it's still great...

I don't think Tatu released it as a single, some reckon if they had done, they would have had a better career.
Ya Bezzer!
One of my favourite Beatles covers. Better than the White Album version if you ask me.
tongue_tied_danny
Laibach - Life is Life I was going to post the video but there's a pair of exposed titties at the start and I don't want the wrath of the mods.

AnAnInginAneAnA
Weedeater - Gimme Back My Bullets Not sure if this one will be to many folks' taste here, but I think it's a massive improvement on the original (which IMHO is one of Lynyrd Skynyrds more 'meh' songs).

PrestersKTID
Prefer Disturbed's version of Sound of silence. Seeing it live was eerie. Taking dawn do a good cover of The chain by Fleetwood mac. Apparently Kiss' God gave rock and roll to you is a cover. Can't imagine original is better. Iron Maiden do great covers of I've got the fire by Montrose and cross eyed Mary by Jethro Tull.

ICTJohnboy
Great Byrds song this by Roger McGuinn, but the Fairport Convention version with Sandy Denny and Richard Thompson was even better. :
