The last Meh Derby of the year

Recommended Posts

I don’t think MacLean was onside at any point from that free kick being taken until the point he headered it but I’ll bow to the superior view of the East Stand linesman...

Been a poor game with very few chances. The goal we conceded was a farce. He’s got an assist but Alston has been chronic and should be replaced with Wotherspoon or MOH at HT, assuming MOH is in the building. Shaughnessy and Tanser both doing well but neither getting much help ahead of them. Cummins needs to actually attack a ball in the air instead of giving Greer and Broadfoot a free ride.

Hopefully get Scougall and/or O'Hallaron on for second half and give a bit of threat for the second half. We've not been great but didn't deserve to be behind at half time IMO.

That killie goal was horrific from start to finish.

As said, if you had a competition to try and concede the worst goal possible, we'd have just given it a good crack. Woeful and needless ball back to goalkeeper, who only succeeds in sliding it out it for a corner. From the cross, a free header from six yards but that should be a simple clearance on the back post for Liam Craig, who instead takes a fresh air swipe at it. Dreadful.

Saints occasionally look like a team but only fleetingly. Hopefully improve in second half.

They are stuck in traffic due to a horrible accident on the A9. Millar and Johnstone also stuck.

Just back home as we couldn't get beyond heavy traffic in Dunblane.   Tried heading round towards Doune then turned right and headed back to the A9 but that slip road was closed too.

We would have been lucky to get into the ground for half time, so no point continuing any further.

Harrowing stuff watching us trying to attack here, Callum Hendry done more in five minutes than the rest of our attack.

Staggering MOH hasn't even got on the pitch.

Performances like this confirm the thought we'll be bottom half, once MOH goes we're reliant on this mob for goals

@OfficialKillie
76' 1-2 | Eamonn Brophy goes in the book for a foul inside the Killie half.
80' 1-2 | Gary Dicker is booked for a foul near the halfway line.
82' 1-2 | Lee Erwin is next to go in the book after kicking the ball away before the free kick could be taken

Dirty, cheating, anti-football, cheating westie b*****ds.

Are we more streetwise than we were earlier in the season?    :whistle

Next you'll be wasting time by keeping the ball in the corner for numerous minutes. Shocking tactics we'd never lower ourselves to...

I don't know why folk get so annoyed about it as their own team dos it when they are in a winning position.

Totally agree. It's remarkable how many times players try to do it and fail miserably though.

Based purely on the BBC stats it would appear that it was a deserved victory for Ayrshire's finest (apologies for the dreadful formatting following a C+P job)

Started the day hoping for other results to go our way including Hamilton losing at Tynecastle but would like that to now finish a draw leaving us within 3 points of top 6.

Tbf it's hard to get excited about a match you know you're winning
indeed, an easy killie win is becoming quite the boring occurance at the ferm
