Any takers? The first of two winnable home games in a row for us, need to keep our momentum going after the Stirling game unfortunately being postponed last week.

2-0.

With the re-scheduling of the Stirling game for Tuesday, we aren't at home for the next two games!

Apart from that, I agree with you that this is a winnable game and anything less than 3 points would be unacceptable for a team wanting to win the league.

Like your style, must admit was a bit like that in our early days in the league, anyway if you are coming up hope you enjoy your day but when the whistle goes we cannot be dropping anymore silly points at home.

Not exactly at our best today but got there in the end, Edinburgh are a big physical side & gave it a go. Surprized when the ref finally gave us something it was a penalty & a sending off, even then while at one up we made things harder for ourselves than it maybe should have been. Anyway job done for today now on to Tuesday.

Big shout to MOM Greig Fleming by far best keeper in this league and made a couple of decisive interventions. As usual The Blue Toon have a chance if they have a decent defensive performance and it was the performance to eventually allow the goals to come.

City deserve a lot of praise they probably edged the match until the daft decision to give away a penalty rather than a shot at goal and thus leave them down to 10, 1-0 down  and facing a Peterhead now on the front foot. Edinburgh look as good as any of this league that I have seen and have all obviously got their Referees qualification and were at pains to assist the ref at every opportunity !!! Gibson and Ferry however give Peterhead that quality and experience in central midfield that is regularly now giving their team-mates the chance to shine by protecting the defence and keeping possesion under pressure in the middle of the park then getting the passes away to start things moving forward. With Rory up front Bambi should only improve by trying to emulate him.

Nice wee bit of banter again at Balmoor with supporters home and away including a wee chat with Jim Jefferies all in all not a bad 500 mile trip, see you all Tuesday night :)

Thought the game was pretty much a carbon copy of the first game this season.City knock the ball about well but seem to have no cutting edge up top. After the penalty and sending off for about 10 mins i was wondering who had the ten men but as soon as the 2nd went in it was game over and i know quite a few fans  that had a few bob in the local turf accountant for a 3-0 victory so a bigger smile on some faces more than usual after a win ;)
