Jacky1990
Tom McIntyre getting games for Reading in the Championship. 20 years old and keeping some good, experienced guys out of the team. Could be promising.

Along with Clayton, Porteous, Johnston at Feyonoord and the other lad at Bayern maybe we might get a couple decent centre halves one day.
JamieStevenson
Good to see Harry Souttar in the Australian national squad. Should do well for them.

Melanius Mullarkey
Hopefully Harry does well in all those tricky World Cup qualifying games Australia normally have.
jagfox
Turkish Superlig shock leaders Alanyaspor have an eligible experienced central defender playing well at the moment. Has been sounded out by Steven Reid too... Yup, Steven Caulker
JamieStevenson
Debatable as to whether Caulker is actually playing well or not. His partner is the more sound defensively of the pairing and the team is being carried hard by Papiss Cisse. Interesting to note though, he was dropped today and the team went on to lose to a poor Besiktas side. ArabianKnight
Don't know the ins and outs of his conviction but it's not exactly high on the list of really terrible things to get done for. Assualt can be a wide range of things.

Probably quite high on the list of pretty terrible things to get done for IMO. EDIT - Not saying he shouldn't be called up btw, but it was a fairly horrible crime. ArabianKnight
Aye just read up on it. Tbh I can't say I'm too thrilled with the idea of him playing in a Scotland shirt but I'm also a firm believer in rehabilitation for most offences.
0Neils40yarder
He done the crime, paid the price (of being jailed and having his contract ripped up, and started again at a lower level when he got out)... Scumjob
So we are going into the next two games knowing that 1 from 3 of Findlay, Gallacher or Devlin will be partnering Mulgrew. So I make it McKenna and Souttar who would both have been picked for the squad injured. Cooper and Hanley the next cabs off the rank injured. Halkett who may have been on the longlist ahead of Gallagher injured. Lindsay out of the picture as seemingly not being considered and Kerr playing for St. Johnstone. No idea what's happening with Bates. That's 12 players off the top of my head. All on the scale between average and bombscare but you have to feel for Clarke when he can't get a consistent pairing fit for a run of games.
