They should consult with the clubs before doing so, but there is no obligation for them to actually take the views of the clubs on board. These rules are all created and maintained by the clubs - have Arbroath proposed a change to this at any point? In what way is it pertinent whether Arbroath have proposed a change. The fixture has a date given by the SPFL and the two clubs can't agree on a change. So the original SPFL date should be honoured.

It's pish that one club are able to change a fixture when the other club is against it.
craigkillie
The SPFL were the ones who issued the fixture in the first place, and the rules are clear that they retain the right to change it for whatever reason. If Arbroath believe that both teams should have to give permission, then you'd assume they'd have lobbied to change the rules to say that?

invergowrie arab
The name change and taking the nativist soup was a dark day and shouldn't be celebrated. That said Arbroath choose to be PT so no sympathy there.

The United fans were celebrating (rightly so) a late goal and were goading McPake as he walked off, he simply replied in a way to say "aye well done, you got a 1-1 draw at home". Maybe not particularly classy but if that's one of the most pathetic things you've seen in a while then you must not get out much. 8 hours ago, Bairnardo said: McPake is a walking cringefest. johnnydun
The BBC saying the game between Tranent and Celtic B was postponed due to International call ups. That's fuckin laughable.
AnderooMFC
The SPFL : It's a hard job sorting out fixture lists. It is a complicated process for several weeks after seasons end and takes into account consultations from local police, events happening in the area, travel arrangements and several other complicated events including star charts and weather patterns. A lot of time and thought and effort went into this and people were paid highly to make this perfect. Dundee Utd : ....but, pls? The SPFL : Lol, no worries, date changed!
DA Baracus
Next time any Raith fan brings up that daft wee bedsheet banner and tries to claim it's indicative of the whole Pars support, I'll bring up this Raith Union Jack/Ulster Defence photo and claim it's indicative of the entire Raith support.
