Just watched Jack’s post match interview & again very honest & hard to disagree with what he says.

We were pretty good for the first 30mins but after that we completely shit fested our way to victory.

Thought Brechin are a decent enough side & really surprised they haven’t managed a win to date. They’ve gave us two good games in paisley, where we’ve been dominant all season.

Cliche or not, at this stage of the season, it really is all about winning games and we’ve achieved that again.

Massive game on Friday night, can’t wait! COYS

Was dreading this today.

Job done 3 more points on the board. Looking like 70 points should be enough to win the league, Livi would need to win 8 out of 11 and United would need to win 10/13 to reach that.

We have some tricky games coming up, need to raise it on Friday night.

Surprised to see a few folk saying Brechin are decent. They may have been in the first half but they looked utterly honking in the first half and it wasn't all down to us being good. Some of the misplaced passes were laughable and the amount of space our players were given at times was ridiculous.

Indeed. Brechin are a case in point of why the playoffs don’t always work. If this was Goodwin’s Alloa, I’m sure they would be doing at least a bit better.

Can’t be fun being a Brechin fan or player playing in a division that they clearly don’t belong in. 4 points in 25 games? What a waste of everyone’s time that is.

If a football club had showed up we would have got a hiding. Like we got from Livi last week.

Just aswell.

That was brutal to watch today. We really should've beat them well as they were there for the taking. It gives me no pleasure to say that they are the poorest team i've seen at SMP for years and we were incapable of finishing them off.

Respect to the 70 Brechin fans who came through and in particular the big man in the red hoody in the Bankhouse shouting his support for his team to us all....whether we liked it or not:lol:

Brutal game. Thank god we got the win. Thought Jack Ross’ subs were poor and instead of changing it he went like for like. Gods knows where Ryan Flynn was playing when he came on. Then when he did change it, it was a sub that would just bring pressure on us. Some terrible shouts towards him in the main stand, short memories from some people. They will be those that Ross is referring to in his piece on the website.

Thought O’Neil in goals for Brechin was the best player on the park. Great save for the penalty and everything else was routine for him but he at least done something of note. More shows just how poor the play was by outfield players.

I actually thought Jack Baird brought a bit of calmness to the back. Liam Smith who strangely for him played horrendously became a lot calmer when Baird came on.
Baird also was our first CH to get a header on one of the many corners we had.

For all Mckenzie is a good player I don't think he links up well with other CH's or fullbacks. He seems to focus fully on his job and not the whole back 4's job.

How was the DAB Slayer? He gave away a penalty which is just part of his life goal to screw over United, but other than that, he alright?

Aye he was fairly solid.  A couple of Cruyff turns as well so the boy has a bit of class about him.  Should be a good addition.

As for the penalty it was one of those ones that the bigger teams get away with all the time.  A bit of jersey pulling at a corner.

Are Saints getting greedy ok Saints were not up for the game in the full 90min the first 30min we looked more like ourselves. Brechin have not had a hiding they are a hard team to break down. We picked up three points we are on course the United game will be a different altogether our boy's will be well up for it the light at the end of the tunnel can be seen.

We were rubbish, Liam Smith had his worst game for us, if it had ended as a draw I don’t think anyone could have complained.

We will need to improve fast or the last few games will be meaningful.

Read B&WArmy. We won and they are still complaining.

As it's not been posted yet...

If you had to guess what Ross would say, a Ross Bingo as it were, I feel there wouldn't be any surprises.

In short: "We created some good stuff, should have finished it off, we didn't but all credit to the opposition and 3 points are 3 points, we can't just turn up and expect them"
