Clubs a shambles at the minute

And for a while by the looks of it .we are sleepwalking to the league below .

1st of all lee bullen just needs to go and tonight but he won't.

2.mathie is behind the scenes here and is making a real c**t of it .3 players on that bench been handed deals of 2 years .syla ,Rose and mckenzie they aren't good enough to make our starting 11 and we'll have gave them contracts . Fans have already started to walk until he is gone .aiden mcgeady had been giving a job by the club that nobody really knows what it is .

We have a full coaching team all ayr uniteds men not bullens

If a new manager was to come in are we paying all these guys off as he will maybe want his own staff.

We also have sports psychologists  ,nutritional coaches all alot of shit a club like ours do not need .

Worrying times .

In fairness, it was nothing like 30%.  Just a dozen or so behind the goals (weans mostly I’d say) who clammed up after about 5 seconds when they realised no one was joining in.

I was in the family stand and it could hear it clearly enough. Chalmers goal immediately after the 3rd and our small rally after that put a stop to it pretty quickly.

I thought he was poor today. I don’t think he’ll be recalled.

For all his quality, you can absolutely see why Dundee Utd threw in the towel with Chalmers.  So inconsistent.  Had a bit of a shocker today as did Murphy.  Was surprised we didn’t at least try and have them swap sides for a bit.

He can absolutely win you games of football but we don’t get the best out of him on a tight pitch and I think he can be kept quiet if the full back goes in hard on him.

Agree that change is needed but totally disagree on the utility of specialists. The physical and mental health of the players is one of the club's primary responsibilities.

As much as he seems to enjoy the freedom he's apparently afforded at Ayr, I think a top coach would have a more effective tactical plan for him.

The place was a morgue, so no doubt it could be heard.  But it was nevertheless a small group of mostly weans behind the goal who had given up long before Chalmers scored, partly because no one was joining in and partly because they were shouted down by other fans.  Don’t think many disagree with the sentiment, but it was all a bit embarrassing.

The problem with the north terrace being shut, you know the folk round about you won’t move at half time.

The guy beside me must have lost money to Logan Chalmers because he slated him from kick-off. Every time Chalmers got the ball he kept shouting, DONT CUT IN which is what he did to score our only goal.

Chalmer, Murphy, Dempsey and Ahui all got it from him but mostly Chalmers.

We changed the formation and have been far more open at the back with 3 in midfield rather than 2. Ahui struggles with the ball at his feet going forward and is often too slow to pass to Chalmers and then doesn’t overlap enough. Murphy and Reading link better but Paddy doesn’t get forward enough. Amartey was more direct today on the left and didn’t need the forward support.
it’s like we try to fix the things that aren’t working by changing the things that are working.

Did anyone else enjoy the corner where all of our players stood on the byline beyond the back post then the corner was played straight to a defender at the near post? 😂

Whyte is working with the academy and the reserves, Tait is part time and the rest are sports science. We might get a manager that wants an assistant but we aren’t a team big enough to need a manager, assistant and a couple of coaches full time.

Saw a stat on Twitter that from our last 36 league games (equivalent to a full season) we have collected 37 points.

Since Division 1 changed to the Championship in 2013 there have been 8 seasons with 36 games played. In those 8 season the average number of points of the 8th placed side was 42.6. Excluding the anomaly of Falkirk finishing on 47 points in 17/18 due to Brechin, the average is 37. We have been circling the drain for a whole calendar year and the higher ups seem to think all is well.

Well that's it for me until BGM is gone.

Its six hours of my Saturday (including travel) that I'll spend doing other things for the foreseeable.

I've been worn down. Enough is enough.

Come shovel horse shit with me mate. Infinitely more enjoyable than watching that dross.

Anyone know if Callum Davidson was at the game today?

He's been at Dunfermline and Morton game in the last week which seems bizarre

Davidson has been popping up on Sportsound of late, so I daresay his media pals are trying to put him in the shop window.  (It’s a straight no for me!!)

When you're on a run like this team is, getting horsed at home to a team who haven't won in five. Those post match comments by Bullen elicit absolute despair.
