Wss given a 3 year deal during 2022 I think

3 years of slowing down attacks by passing the ball backwards and getting away with it because he scores against diddies. Useful squad player but not a starter for me.

Id prefer Syla in CM with a more dynamic player beside him who can pick a pass and chip in with some goals.

Yeah 100%. He was good yesterday but in reality he's a bog standard midfielder, we need better in that department.

I don’t know what people expect from Dempsey. He rarely loses possession, covers a lot of ground, can carry the ball forward and chips in with a few goals. He does the basics well which is what you want from a central midfielder at this level. I think Syla is too inconsistent to be relied upon and as much as I like McHugh, his fitness is a bit of a worry. I’d be quite happy if our midfield was Dempsey and a more physical midfielder who is better in the tackle.

IMO, it’s just the usual lazy arguments you get about central midfielders.

I would be happy with him starting next to a deeper ball playing style central midfielder, as I think it would complement him well. Ideally with an actual attacking midfielder in front too - there could be a few available with McInroy released and Turner well out of the picture at Ross County.

Charlie Telfer is one to look at. Maybe a wee bit lightweight but he’s up there this season for assists at Airdrie. I agree that we should at least ask McInroy if he’d come back. Brown will know him a bit from being at Celtic together and it’s a signing that might happen purely for the chance to play under him.

There is also the Stephen Kelly situation too, depending on the Livingston financial situation.

Kelly > Turner > McInroy for me but I would love any of the three!

I couldn’t tell you enough about Telfer tbh!

Can i take a moment to mention our first penalty yesterday where Willoughby trips over his own leg and gets given a penalty.

If that was against us there would be 5 pages of rage on here today 🤣

Lol mate. Such a laugh. Would you like to hear a bigger joke? There’s a club from Ayrshire that diddled the tax paying public of circa £10 million. Lol. Wasn’t Ayr. Lol. Meanwhile our nhs is struggling and schools don’t have enough books. Lol.

Think we came to an arrangement with our bank. Nothing to do with the taxpayer. A bit confused?

At least they have got to see Van Veen rattling them in.

A squad so strong, KVV and Greg Stewart can’t break into the first team. Once again over performing for Ayrshire, only behind the three biggest teams in Scotland. Ayr Ushited, meanwhile, continue languish in mediocrity as  they have done for half a century. No history, no trophies and obsessed by one penalty kick and the fact that Lawrence Shankland once kicked a ball for them. Utter tinpot.

It's really best not to interact with these type of posts or have them on block. Don't give them the attention.

Ooooft. Is there an adult there than can explain some (not very complicated) shit to you. Also, you’ve replied to a post I made towards the end of March. Been a bit of time buddy. Leads me to believe that (A) you’re a child at the end of a device ban or (B) you’re Marvin and were waiting for a giro to buy more pay as you go. I’m guessing you’re Marvin’s child at the end of a device ban.

That’s you that is.  Or your dad. Come back at me with more. ‘Zingers’. If you still have credit. “Yuv goat tae choose, it’s replying to me or the blues”.

Surely likely to be out the picture at County if they stay up? If they come down then they have one of the most capable midfielders in the league.

Definitely so but I think your faith in Turner’s quality might be a bit generous.

Seven goals and sixteen assists last season says otherwise.

He is a fantastic player at this level.
