I'd expect Bullen to be given the first quarter which takes you into October.

Plus he'll get the sympathy card from Smith and Mathie at the fact the core or his midfield has been ripped away with Murdoch, Dempsey and Pendlebury along with losing our top goal scorer.

Morton losing another 4 at home….

Morton have one of the smaller budgets in this league and have had to sign players overlooked by other clubs. We have a top half budget and just sold a player for about 300k. The fact that Morton comfortably beat us especially considering their subsequent results is very worrying.

The absolute banter years is that when the club is in League One next season there will still be JCBs sitting on an empty northern embankment.

Some of the stuff on here is wild - Smith was quick to pull the trigger on Hopkin and Duffy?? He absolutely was not. Bullen could(and indeed might)  lose every game until Christmas and he'll be safe.

There's no saving this. The squad is an utter shambles from top to bottom, and in the last month the only two bits of it which actually looked competent (central midfield and central defence) have collapsed. The notion that fucking Jim McIntyre of all people is going to turn it around is about as optimistic as Bullen's late subs.

To cut Bullen some slack, the game plan has taken a dunt, Of the 4 midfielders to complete pre-season, three midfielders are injured and one has left.

For the most part, the football has been dreadful to watch, even when winning but signing Murphy, McGeady and Chalmers should have fixed that. It hasn't.

The defence, that he has kept or signed (McCallister excluded) and they make the same mistakes they made in week one.

He could ask to be judged when Murphy is back and all transfer business is done but that would be to ignore the last season and a half.

Big couple of games for him.

Just to put things into perspective.

Houston who is arguably a better right back than McAllister can't even get into the QoS team in League One. There are too many players who just aren't good enough in the starting 11. That's the stark reality of it.

Some interesting new away days in League 1 since we were last there.

You two are doing it wrong.

Bucky or Wattoo will be along shortly and I'm certain they will be able to find a real positive.
