But what a week it would be. Greenock would become submerged in slavers.

Not the worst in the world when we have Murphy and Henderson already signed up, makes him and Tomlinson the back up. It’s another area of the pitch that is covered. You’re then just a right back/centre back/centre mid/cover or competition for left back away from the squad being completed without anyone leaving.

Are people aware that Coventry City are in the Championship, and not the Combined Counties Southern Division?

And.lost to Manchester united in the Semi Final of the FA Cup a few weeks ago.

Think it’s because he’s been on loan at the likes of Hereford and Chorley

To be fair, it's unlikely he was scouted playing for Coventry's first team.

My only concern is that surely we only have space for one more loan after this one? You want to get player tied down on 2 year contracts if possible and with loan players there’s always the risk they get pulled away in January due to injuries at the parent club or if someone else wants them.

Don’t think there’s a limit on cross border loans.

Agree that we shouldn’t be relying on the loan market though.

We had Chalmers, Dowds, Ahui, Senga, and Young all at one point last season. Also, are we just assuming this is a loan and not a transfer?

Think it is a limit of 5 from Scotland and either 6 or 7 from abroad (FIFA reduced it because of the big clubs taking the piss).

Still has a year left on his deal at Coventry so I think likelyhood is it’s a loan unless they’ve mutually parted ways but nothing seems to confirm that (and doubt we would be paying money for a 3rd choice Winger being behind Murphy and Henderson but could be wrong)
