The wee one was looking for forward to meeting the players There was an open day last year , it took Place on Sunday 26th August at the third attempt , cancelled twice due to extreme weather , all the activities took place in the dressing rooms , boardroom and shop as even on that day the weather was very poor , all first team players were in attendance along with the manager Edited August 9, 2019 by Robbo63

My bad Any idea when it’s looking to be rescheduled too?

Looking at 8th September, as long as we don’t get a home tie on the 7th in the Cup

Someone on the SRE page said they were chucked out. Dunno if that had anything to do with it.
Finlay21
Very heavy handed response , a couple of boys moved a pipe that was in the view , absolutely trivial yet they were ejected by police after stewards made a song and dance of it , the stewarding was a disgrace and very antagonising, they were looking for trouble , 2 ayr fans were ejected for asking questions of the stewards , one of the fans was allegedly assaulted , fans not let in for voicing opinions that any normal steward would have just laughed at , I was totally astonished at how Dundee stewards handled any minor issue , they are a disgrace
eez-eh
Why are our fans such fucking roasters by the way? Some of the abuse McDaid got was out of order and it was the same for Crawford up at Livi. There wasn’t any ill feeling from either side when he left for Dundee in the summer. He doesn’t need to be applauded but there’s a middle ground that doesn’t involve abusing him all game.
diegomarahenry
Last time I was at Dundee, one steward being a dick lead to almost a full scale riot, a Policeman pushing a 12 year old boy by the face down a flight of stairs and half a dozen folk arrested.

Even worse for me, there was someone in front of me saying that it was harsh to boo McDaid and there was no need, before going on to say he’d happily boo Crawford! So, no need to boo someone who played a couple of seasons for us and left to join a club in the same division, but perfectly ok to boo someone who came through our youth system, played in both those seasons as well as several more and left to join a club in a higher division?I just don’t get that at all.
Iain
Don't see any problem booing an ex player like a pantomime villain, but personal abuse is never warranted.
rb123!
If people don't think Shankland is going to get abuse when he returns to Somerset then they're daft, think he'll get pelters from a lot of our fans in the SRE. God forbid he scores a goal in front of them and celebrates, cause a full scale riot.

North Terrace Gazza
Shankland joining DU was a bit like the woman you love leaving you which is bad enough but then hooking up with your best friend[emoji20]I won’t shout abuse at him but I do feel let down.
