Perhaps, it is a chip shop brown sauce. Very vinegary. £1 out asdas/tescos etc worth a try for anyone interested.

If it's the one that they put on chippys in Edinburgh, then it's amazing on sausage suppers etc.

Dunno about it being better than HP. HP is better on breakfast rolls.

Both good IMO.

Brown sauce on breakfast rolls? tim.png

BBQ for breakfast rolls imo. Chippy sauce for suppers.

I used to be strictly a tomato sauce on my breakfast rolls kinda guy, till I graduated to sweet chilli sauce. It's a bit like tomato sauce, but much much nicer. Try it. It'll be like a new dawn.

BBQ or sweet chilli sauce on a breakfast roll was Hitler’s favourite.

I resent that. I'm not saying I agree with everything Hitler said and did. But even a stopped clock tells the right time twice a day.

It's 'tomato sauce' and 'broon sauce'.

Broon sauce on bacon rolls and tomato sauce on (link) sausage rolls.*

* roll and bacon and roll and sausage for the weirdos who say it that way.

Pish answer, opinion disregarded.
Your disregard of my opinion, does not could in my eyes. There are numerous other sauces for a more mature taste that sweet tomatoes. It a sauce for the starters of life. Even my son, disregards Tommy and moved onto much more appropriate sauces.

you're obviously going to regard it s a  juvenile thing if you persist in referring to it in such a ridiculously childish manner - man up, f'fucks sake, and call it ketchup

as a consequence you come across as the sort who goes to "maccy d's", and should therefore be shot

and you probably put bunny ear filters on your selfies !

i'm fucking furious at your litany of immature affectations now...

;)

btw - i initially typed that as "maddy d's" - business idea for any Algarve-based fast food entrepreneurs looking to attract the younger end of the fast food consumer demographic ???
