Although the 2nd half took you back to better times, let’s not forget the 1st half showing, it was horrendous and the current norm. Take into consideration that they were playing one of the worst teams to ever play in the PL imo, Utd fans creaming themselves tonight need a slap.

It really is mental that they're not even the worst, or second worst, side this season, yet that statement is probably true.

I can kind of see his point. The press have been hoping he will get sacked for weeks. Each defeat brings days of work and articles for them. It felt like before today that tomorrows headlines and reports were already written. And then going down 2-0 was just a dream for the press. Pens down, feet up and early finish to yer Saturday night gig. Man city playing as well as they have and Liverpool have put him under more pressure and scrutiny, but there are other teams going through crap runs, cardiff, Huddersfield, spurs looking like they might be heading out the champions league already, but the focus is still on him. Possibly what he was getting at.

I don't think they have been, and your second sentence there explains exactly why. The perfect scenario for them is the current one where he limps on, makes more stupid comments, Pogba continues to post stupid stuff on Instagram etc. Him leaving will give a day or two of stories, but the well will have run dry.

Good point, but would they not just turn on the next manager until they hound him out? The media love that mourinho is struggling for the work it brings. But it works both ways, he is p***kly with them whereas even if other sides are having a rough time, the managers are a bit friendlier with the press, which in this country, does buy you time.

Juat watching the morning’s MOTD, some really good games yesterday. That Siggy goal to win the game for Everton was something special.

Great win for the Ev Mastermind.

Sigurdsson goal was utter filth tbf, he's an incredible players, scandalous that certain other Everton managers had him on the wing so they could wedge Rooney central.

Can be no complaints from the very generous Sky Sports subscribers of Scotland about today’s Super Sunday.

It’s the Big One.

Liverpool v Man City.

Just setting off shortly.

Mon the Pool :)
