supermik
McCoys ridge cut crisps are shite! Why are the majority of meal deal sandwiches brown bread? The only good meal deals are the ones that involve a pint of T with a burger and chips!
Louis Litt
Sea salt and crushed black peppercorn kettle chips are my side of choice when purchasing a Tesco meal deal. Edited September 6, 2018 by Louis Litt
The Naitch
Not convinced by the Tesco love-in. Their only snack options are crisps or a bar of chocolate. You can get fruit bags and cake slices as well for your snack from Tesco.
ah-dee
years ago you used to get the ginsters large sausage roll as the "snack" in the co-op £3 meal deal. that with either a chicken & bacon or BLT sandwich with bottpe of coke did me each day
Sergeant Wilson
I miss working in Charing Cross. Doner and chips and a can for about £3.00, that's a meal. I exist on stuff out the house now and would be better off dead. Edited June 27, 2019 by Sergeant Wilson

Widge
You can get fruit bags and cake slices as well for your snack from Tesco. My local Tesco does salted caramel tarts in the meal deal. Like a pesto pasta salad, tart and bottle of juice when I’m in the office. Just to mix it up from the usual, admittedly tasty subs and sandwiches. They used to do a terrific chicken and chorizo wrap in Tesco, but that stopped a few years ago. Was very upset about it, not least cause it was £2.50 and great value!
Granny Danger
Tesco do decent real meal* deals. They do a Tesco Finest Chardonnay that is well worth the £7; so if you buy it as part of a meal deal you're getting the food (a starter, main and dessert) for £3. * i.e. not a sandwich and bag of crisps; real food, often served at a table. -

The bottle I had was probably festering on the shelves for years - it was very sugary (not that nasty artificial sweetener stuff).

staggy4life
Surprised at the lack of Morrisons love in bar a couple of posters. The salad boxes are class and the option of millionaire shortbread as a snack puts Morrisons just ahead of Tesco for me. Sainsburys firmly in last place for me mainly because on at least 3 occasions I've boarded a train looking forward to my pasta pot only to remember that they don't fucking supply you with forks in the packaging and instead you have to pick up a separate fork in the store. Tory antics!
