According the Neilston tweet, 4 new clubs admitted and new discipline system. Doesn't sound like the head blazers got much of a hard time over "done deal"

The discipline system change is almost certainly pyramid related, so it suggests that pyramid entry is still on their agenda.

Doesn't say much for the juniors.  Three clubs from towns already in the EoS plus a club the EoS rejected.  All looks a bit amateur.

I see what you did there

Perhaps before asking all these long-winded questions you could read the threads in the appropriate fora where these questions have been answered. If you have an interest, consider joining the Fitba North forum, where there is significantly more discussion on non-SPFL North football in all its guises than here on P&B.

Perhaps they're looking to replace all those who left with tribute acts.

Ffs worse than having a teenage daughter, it’s like pulling teeth! Wtf does “an update” mean?!

Were any resolutions passed, or is this the usual Juniors shambolic fudge, with ambiguous outcomes, which leads to pyramid confusion and delay each season ?

For example, has it now been officially resolved that (i) the North Juniors are not entering the pyramid, (ii) the East Juniors  can't enter whilst they don't have a single "superleague", and (iii) the West juniors will be entering (alone) in 2020/21, en bloc ? Thereby confirming that each Region's JFA, will be making its own decision in future ?

Or was the West 'split' over joining the pyramid, which seems to have been the views which some 'junior' posters have been suggesting recently ?

Or will the SJFA issue a formal pyramid announcement following its AGM ?

Can we expect a formal announcement from the SJFA about the pyramid ?  Or is this too much to expect ?

In a word, No...

Looks like we’re back to hoping for a breakaway league in the west, the east juniors to implode and hell to freeze over in the highlands again

Lowland League Two for season 2020-21 has got to be the best solution to this.

16 team league with guarantee of 8 spaces for West based clubs (if enough apply) and a commitment to create 2 x 16 team leagues LLW and LLE if there is enough interest.

Allows West Juniors to apply knowing there is a viable league for them to go to even if there isn't enough interest for a full WOS league.

Sorry but I hate the idea of a LL2. Why compromise a solid set up in the east for the sake of a handful of west clubs? Where would the west clubs in that league be relegated to? They might not want to go to the SOS. The lowland league should just set up a WOS and invite applicants. Surely they could get at least 10-12 clubs to get it off the ground.
