I was kind of hoping it would die a noble death and incorporate itself into the Southwest/Ayrshire setup at tier 8 that only has 9 teams, so potential for plenty of more. Can you imagine if the juniors were in at tier 6 and tj was running all the cup competitions, like some suggested would be the case... I know, I’m just down the road from them, wondered if anyone would notice! They are back though, playing in the Airdrie and Coatbridge Amateur League and seem to have some ambition... even get a mention on the road sign on the way into Coltness. I would show proof but Google Maps haven’t updated since the sign went up. Newmains is a lovely ground too, possibly my new local team.
