Calling Cards of Morons

Being poor by spending a significant chunk of your income on vastly overpriced labels, just to suggest to others that you're not poor.

I have a friend who lives in Wimbledon just to say she lives there, despite her not being rich in the slightest.

I'm pretty sure she spends more than a grand a month to live in a cupboard under some stairs and she can't afford to eat but it's fine because when people asks where she lives she can say Wimbledon.

Just ask when she's moving up in the world to Wimbledon Village.

Stone island is cool as fuk. Maybe you can’t afford it

Makes no odds these days. Even if it’s genuine Stone Island gear, if you’re under the age of 40 most folk just look at it and assume it to be fake. If you’re over 40 and wearing Stone Island then it’s assumed you’re a thick moron who still thinks he’s a hooligan, but would be more likely to get their arse handed to them.

My father was in the army for nearly 30 years and he's a sound old c**t tbh. I've known a few people around his age who were in the army who are alright, but every soldier of my generation who I've met clearly thought they were something special just because they were in the army.
I think the arsehole thing is a relatively new development.
