Yeah, who would have thought that a typhoid outbreak in which 400 people were diagnosed and quarantined could piss customers off? I don't think Tesco (who took over W. Low) had a single store in Aberdeen when I moved here in 2002, this being 38 years after the event. Eta: Seems the first Tesco in Aberdeen opened in 2005, in a non-food 'Homeplus' format.
