However, our last qualifying group contained 3 sides that are all now in League D (Gibraltar, Lithuania and Slovenia ) Slovenia have had an absolute nightmare the past couple of years. I'm sure when the draw was made we saw them around equal to Slovakia. Quite the fall from grace for them.

I'd have thought that'd have put us above them? I don't think WC90 qualifying counted towards the seeding - just Euro 92 and WC94. We had a shocker in WC94 qualifying. They went on to lose 2-1, and Romania ended up reaching the World Cup QF. They also narrowly missed out in Euro 92 qualifying. I mind watching that. Some arse fired a flare across the pitch at the final whistle, and it turned out later that someone was killed by it. That's what always crosses my mind whenever some genius decides to break out the amateur pyrotechnics at modern games. Anyway, over that 58 year qualifying drought, Wales had a few campaigns where they nearly made it - they weren't uniformly shit for that whole time. That's what crosses my mind whenever...well, whenever we're in a qualifying tournament

Pie Of The Month
SFA have announced the prices. Seem a lot more sensible than previous games. Marshmallo
No doubt we'll get morons like Div spouting off on Twitter about the poor home attendance quoting 30 quid for a midweek fixture against San Marino or Kazakhstan. 90 quid for a season ticket is very reasonable. Usually those tweets get the price completely wrong too, so it'll probably be "£35 for a Thursday night "

Billy Rubin
Sensible pricing from the SFA. Moving forward I have to say I'm looking forward to the games after being suitably entertained in the recent Albania, Israel double header. I was going to book the corner of the West stand till I remembered I earn a 5 figure income so it's North/Perthshire stand again for me and my many many mates ( got 6 or 7 ). The Moonster
For the first time in about 8 years I'm considering buying a ticket for all Scotland home matches. Great pricing, even if you don't get the early bird it's still good value.
