Is there not like a $200 million payment that has to be shared out to the other 12 teams to compensate for reduction of prize money to gain entry? The total cost to enter is $200 million, part of that is the entry fee and part of it is the compensation of the other 10 teams. Michael has the money, he was on the verge of buying Alfa Romeo/Sauber for $250 million during the season but pulled out when they said he would not gain complete control of the team
Mr. Brightside
I hope Andretti do enter, just to see what absolute spoon they put in the car simply because he is American.
Rhys McCabe Hype Train
Always though Andretti would buy Haas when Gene pulled the plug, as he supposedly has been since they started according to Guenther.

Watching Drive to Survive last season, Steiner was clear that they would be at the back of the grid in 2021, not giving a shit about that car, and throwing everything at 2022. If it doesn't work...ooft

scottsdad
On Wednesday, Sky Sports has a half hour show summarising the first day of testing. Tempted to watch it - getting strong 2009 vibes as we just do not know who who has adapted to the new rules best. Hope it isn't Mercedes hosing everyone again.

Rhys McCabe Hype Train
Few commentators saying its noticeable the amount of development thats went into the Haas, so might be that they aren't back of the grid. The Alpine is nice but quite conventional. Buzzing for the news from the Barcelona test. Only two more sleeps.

He could perhaps use his influence at Mercedes to have them employ more women and pay them accordingly, given that Mercedes own report in 2019 stated that only 11% of their workforce was female and the vast majority of them are employed in non-technical roles (6% of technical roles are filled by women) which resulted in a pay gap of nearly 28%. Or he could shut the f**k up on issues he clearly has no idea about.
